Just wanted to say a huge thank you to Peter and Gary for my tandem skydive on Sunday (12/6/11). It was the most incredibly amazing experience!! You will definately see me again...Im now saving my pennies to train to jump independently :-) !! Im hooked!! All the staff and instructors were really friendly and you definately put us students as ease! The DVD and stills are fab and its so nice watching it and re-living it all...I want to jump again NOW, I cant stop smiling :-) !!! Once again, great big thank you to Peter and Gary!! xxx

I did a charity tandem skydive on Saturday 15th June 2011. Fantastic experience. I have to thank eveybody at Flookburgh Skydive Centre for making my day so memorable. Special thanks to Dennis for the briefing which I'm sure helped to put everybody at ease, Dick my instructor who looked after me so well and Gary who produced the film which will be a great reminder of the truly fabulous experince.

Did my first tandem sky dive today 10/07/11 with John. The whole experience from start to finish was beyond superb! I would recommend those who are planning to do a tandem parachute jump to go with these guys. What else can I say except thanks to all involved for making today really memorable.

When I told my partner I wanted to do a tandem skydive for my 40th I think he thought I'd finally lost the plot. What a fantastic day thanks to my instructor Steve and mate Kelly for joining me in the experience. I wish I could afford to do it every weekend. Really addictive!

THE most incredible experience I have ever been part of, I couldn't stop smiling all the way down and for hours afterwards. The staff and instructors at the centre are wonderful, - considerate, kind, thoughtful and put you totally at your ease. It is impossible to feel frightened since you know how lucky you are to be a part of something so good. Special thanks to Mike for the jump and making sure I enjoyed every minute, Steve for the photo's and DVD (not sure my friends and colleagues would say thanks as they have been bored to death by my tales already!) and Kay for telling me to give it another hour when it looked like my third attempt would also be thwarted by the weather. Just deciding whether I can clear enough space in my diary to try a skydiving course myself!

Thank you so much to everyone at Skydive North West, especially Steve and Gary. The staff were so helpful and friendly and took my mind off how nervous I was. The whole thing was an amazing experience and it's lovely to have the dvd to remind me of what I did! I still can't believe I did it! I did my 3rd tandem jump on 14th August 2011 and it gets better everytime!, the staff at the airfield are brilliant very friendly and professional, cant wait to book the next jump! over 20 people are jumping next year with me all for Children With Cancer. see ya soon guys. :)

Without a doubt one of the best and most exhilarating experiences of my life! Since Saturday I have watched the DVD countless times!

I cannot express in words how amazing my skydiving experience was. It was the most mind blowing, incredible experience of my life and I know that was made even better by the fabulous team at Skydive North West. Nicky Johnston, I hope you read this, you were so fantastic with me, put up with my screaming, shaking legs and nervous laugh, an absolute star and I cant thank you enough! A massive THANK YOU to all at NWPC in Cark. Travelled down from Macduff, Scotland to do AFF level 1 for Scottish Cot Death Trust last weekend. Had no idea what to expect but was put at ease straight away by Ian who spent the day training me how to safely (hopefully) jump out of a perfectly good aircraft from 14000ft. Couldn't jump on Sat due to atrocious weather but Sun was beautiful so off we went - and I've never felt anything like that in my life lol. Ian & Kieron got me down in 1 piece & within 2 hrs I had joined the BPA & went straight back up & did my level 2. I'M HOOKED!!! Now going to do the next 6 levels & become a qualified skydiver.Cannot thank everybody at Cark enough - you've opened my eyes to a whole new world - WHAT A RUSH! Even my partner Anne is coming down again but this time she's going to do a tandem jump. Thank you thank you thank you! Lol. See you soon guys!!

I completed my first tandem skydive on Sunday. I was quite apprehensive on the run upto it having never skydived before. I had no need to worry. The whole experience from arriving at the centre was brilliant. The training we received from Dennis was thorough (and his sense of humour really calms you down) my instructor Pete was brilliant. He knew what to say to ease the nerves and made me feel relaxed and comfortable in the plane on the way up. I had my experience put on DVD - camera man Ian is great. I cannot stop watching my DVD. The staff are extremely welcoming and friendly and very professional. I loved every minute. If you are thinking of doing a skydive - do it with Skydive North West! I can't wait to do it again! I will definitely be coming back here. Thanks to all for making my experience so wonderful xx

Wow! did my first jump yesterday and it was amazing. Thank you to Steve for the fab DVD which is a great reminder of my jump, thank you to Nick for putting me a ease on my jump and making it so much fun, my apologies for screaming and thank you to the nice scouse man (I am sorry I cannot remember your name) for the training and putting us all at ease. First ever Sky Dive on Saturday 17th Sept 2011, WOW - Fantastic! Something everyone should try at least once - me, I can't wait to go again and again and again! North West Sky Dive - Amazing, don't go anywhere else. Tandem jumped with John Howard, DVD & Photos taken by Gary Hall, but I can't forget everyone else there too, from the cafe to reception and not forgetting our hilarious instructor Denis, you were all BRILLIANT! The weather was not kind that day, but everyone waited and waited and waited for it to clear and eventually you got us all out, and wow was it worth the wait. On a high still two days later. I keep watching my DVD to relive it again and again - this is well worth the extra money. Thanks very much to ALL of you at North West Sky Dive, I'll definately be back.

I did my first tandem skydive yesterday 1st October. It was the best thing i have ever done and i would recommend anybody to do it! All of the staff at skydive northwest were brilliant and made the day really enjoyable! I would like to thank Nicky my instructor for making the dive brilliant. Went for tandem skydive yesterday, uable to jump due to low cloud so have re-booked for later in the month, but received training from Dennis so am all ready to go next time. Really friendly and helpful staff, can't wait to get in the air.

Just do it! You will be amazed how much you enjoy it and wonder why you were so worried about it. Of course there will be the usual nerves, in the same way there would be with anything different and new, and outside your comfort level. I did my tandem skydive with Mike, who kept me at ease from the initial training, putting my jumpsuit on (my knees were definitely knocking at this stage), walking to the plane, talking to me all the way, and explaining everything that was about to happen. I felt totally safe at all times. The end result being a fantastic skydive. Once the shute opens, its like floating on air and you really do get to appreciate the amazing views. My two boys were watching and they were extremely proud of mum! Thank you to everyone involved.

An incredible day! I loved the freefall, its like jumping into a huge Dyson hand dryer. I was dreading the landing but I've had worse falls from pavements. Dennis' training was entertaining and put things in perspective. I jumped with Mike who was very calm and his quiet professionalism put me completely at ease. I'd happily do it again!

Finally defeated the weather and got to do my tandem jump with Pete on a brilliant sunny day (19 Feb 12), it was absolutely amazing I never expected to be doing a somersalt whilst exiting a plane at 14,000 ft, then the spirals once Pete had opened the shute, i'm still gobsmacked now, my family were so stunned they thought they were looking at the wrong shute!! and Steve's DVD and pictures are superb, really love the picture when Pete and I are still upside down during the somersalt when exiting the plane, again absolutely amazing, thanks all :0))

Wow, did my first tandem jump today. It was the most exhilarating and amazing experience. I was so nervous but felt instantly at ease and in safe hands when I met the instructors. The place is great, went with 3 kids aged 1, 3 & 4 and they were able to play and watch planes taking off etc. the facilities are great for what you need. Couldn't be better. Amazing. Do it, do it, do it!

OMG!!! Completed a tandem skydive on Sat 12th May 2012 for my 30th birthday and it was the best experience ever! Have wanted to skydive since I was a little girl and am so glad that I have finally done it! All my friends and family are amazed. I did my tandem skydive on sun 10/06/12 with Michael and my camera guy was Gary. I travelled from Glasgow down to Cumbria especially for it, i was raising money for Cancer Research UK (My total so far is £1300!!) I cant recommend skydiving enough! I would love to do a course - and i fully intend to make use of my membership to the BPA before my year is up! I really felt so welcome and safe with these guys. Just completed my 1st static line jump on Sunday 8th July! Woah! What a feeling & rush. Would like to thank Dan (our tutor) for being brilliant at getting us all through it & being a good laugh. (Not bad for a school teacher) Also thanks to Dennis for talking me through my descent, just hope he's not a Blue-nose, otherwise I'll have to take that back ;) Due to the wind misbehaving we couldn't drop on the day of the training but I returned early Sunday to finish what I started. 3,500ft looks a lot higher when you're up there. EEK! Just a BIG thankyou to all the staff at Skydive North West for making the day/jump brilliant.

FANTASTIC!!! Just done a tandem and the experience itself is enough to take your breath away but the guys make the experience even better for you. They do this all the time, thousands of times and yet make you feel like they really want you to enjoy yourself! they seemed genuinely pleased to be taking you which made the entire thing even better (if that was possible). well recommended. Thanks to all particularly Dick Kalinski (thanks for not dropping me!) and Gary Turner (video and pictures are awsum, defo getting some of those framed) . :-)

I recently did a Tandem Skydive at this centre and have nothing but praise for everyone involved. We arrived at 11:00 but didn't jump until mid afternoon due to the typical British weather (well worth the wait). Whilst waiting, we were kept informed as to what we should be looking for and I recieved in-depth and easy to understand training by one of the instructors. Once in the plane I was given a lovely tour of our surroundings by the awesome Ned and John and was made to feel very comfortable (despite my nerves). When we jumped I felt in very safe hands and enjoyed every second more than I ever could have imagined. It was the best experience of my life and cannot be compared to anything. I was on top of the world, LITERALLY! I would definitely (and hope to) do another dive and maybe even a course. Anyone who wants to do a skydive but isn't 100% sure, get it booked and get it booked with Skydive Northwest, who made my experience absolutely INCREDIBLE from start to finish. Thanks guys for an amazing unique day!!

I have just submitted a review for the skydive experience but I forgot to mention a very important contribute to my experience... The photography!! Absolute amazing video AND loads of raw data pics and I was only waiting about 20 minutes!! I would recommend if you are going to do a skydive, GET it filmed, looking back is just as amazing and I have something to remind me of my amazing day!!

Myself & 4 others decided to do a tandem skydive to raise funds for The Zak Scott Braveheart Foundation, a charity we set up in memory of my son. We ended up spending the weekend in Cark due to weather holding up some of our jumps. What a weekend it was :) Absolutely EVERYBODY at North West were fantastic from the moment we arrived till we left. There were a few nerves around when we first arrived and these were quickly diminished with the friendly welcome we received, the funny but very informative briefing we received from Dennis and the generally friendly & relaxing atmosphere in and around the drop zone. I personally need to say a huge massive thank you to Jim Scott, he has been a dear friend of the family for many years and it was a privilege getting to share my tandem experience with him. It truly was amazing and i'm so glad that he played a major part in an experience i will cherish forever :) xxx I would also like to say a massive thank you to Peter Hughes for my amazing dvd & still photos. You captured the whole experience perfectly of which many of my friends have been well impressed, although how much longer they will put up with the dvd is another matter :) Thank you!!! I'm even planning on coming back next summer to do it all again :) THANK YOU!!!

Did my jump on 09/09/12 with Nicky Johnston who is my hero now lol This is the best experience i have ever had and i am still buzzing now 24hrs later. Nicky was brill i felt so relaxed with him and we landed perfectly. I did my first ever charity tandem skydive back in July 2011, and would just like to say that it was the most incredible experience I have ever had in my life! The staff were wonderful and very professional, which helped to put me at my ease from the off. I would like to send a MASSIVE THANK YOU TO STEVE, my instructor, who made me feel totally safe all the way through the skydive. I learned alot about Morecambe Bay on the way up and down. Would definitely do a skydive again, in a heart beat. Thank you to the cameraman who produce the DVD ( which is a must have.) It's such a fabulous reminder of a wonderful experience. This has to be the best thing I have ever done in my life - 100% amazing. I was pretty nervous cos I suffer from asthma and have joint problems, but once I got to the centre and saw how gentle the landing was I felt completely reassured. The staff were also really amazing - confident, competent and super friendly. I felt completely safe throughout. A special thanks to Brian my instructor and Pete the cameraman. Can't wait to do it again!

I'll keep it simple. My daughter wanted to complete a charity skydive. She signed up to Skydive Northwest and completed her tandam jump this June 2011. The centre was absolutely brilliant. From Stuart, Kay to Denis briefing the troops to Dick personally taking care to my daughter. It a great set up, organisation, professional and caring. I recommended the centre 100%. and when I loose a few pounds, I'll be re-visiting!!

Today I did my first Tandem Skydive and I have to say it was by far the best experience I have ever had in my life!!!!! I would like to say thankyou to everyone at Northwest Parachute Centre for such an amazing experience!! After spending a long day on the ground waiting for sunshine we got up for our tandem skydive just after 5pm. I was sooooooo scared waiting the nerves got to me but the minute I was in the plane excitement took over!!! What an amazing experience it is the most exiting thing I have ever done in my 33 years on earth!!! A must get it on your to do list!! everyone at cark was amazing Dennis the comedian thanks for making me laugh!!! Really hope a pluck up the courage to do another there some day !!

I completed a tandam Skydive on Saturday 26th March 2011. This was my first time and I was very nervous, however the staff and trainers we fantastic, they took the time to get to know us and made us feel at ease. I had an amazing experiance and would like to thank all of the staff at the centre, especially my instructor (Brian Shaw) who was so friendly & reasuring and made the day even more special!!! Many thanks.

I did a tandem skydive today with Jim Scott he is fantastic I was so relaxed with him!!!!! The feeling is unreal and I did it for a very worthy cause which made it even better! I hope I made Jim's birthday(!) as fantastic as he made my day a true gentleman xx I cannot rave enough!

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone at Cark but especially to Peter Connor who I tandem skydived with last Sunday (10-10-2010), and Gary Turner who took the pictures and did a fab DVD. It was an amazing experience, worth every penny. I thought I'd be scared when it came to leaving the plane, but I just felt so safe with Peter doing all the important stuff I couldn't wait to get out there! I may well be back....

I did a tandum jump on 10 May 2008 with Pete Connor, it was the most amazing experience, thank you Pete. My mum (aged 64) was so jealious on the day that she came back to Cark on 4 August 2008 and did her first tandum jump. We both absolutely loved the experience. Thank you to all the great people at Cark.

My wife bought me a sky dive as a 30th birthday present. It is something that I have always wanted to do and it was absoultely fantastic. I had a brilliant day and felt totally looked after all the way through the process. Steve my instructor was great and he along with the camera man made me totally at ease. The DVD is amazing and I haven't stopped showing it to my friends and family, I would advise everyone to get one. I jumped on 08/08/08 and I am now seriously considering taking up sky diving as a hobby. A truly amazing experience.

I was one of four lads from Carlisle who did a static line course at Cark. It was such a buzz, we decided to do a second one. That was in 1974. 2000 plus jumps later including 350 displays, I'm still getting that buzz. Speaks volumes for the sport and for Skydive Northwest.

I skydived for a local charity in Preston yesterday. I was nervous driving to the airfield but my mind was put at ease by the training and professionalism of all the staff. The sky diving was the most thrilling and exciting thing I have ever done. Quite simply an incredible experience.

i dived on 14/6/08 with steve hankey as my instructor. I just like to say thanks to steve hankey as i was reassured, knew i was in good hands and had an excellent time! I was bit scared as it was my 1st jump and was last to do it on the day (wonderful views.) I am definately planning on jumping at least every three months, definately! hoping to do another dive with steve in july and then october if possible. I am only 20yrs old now and want to take it up as a hobby. I live near warrington of the M6 and it was well worth the travel! Did a 14k tandem with John Howard on the 13th of this month. Would just like to say a massive thank you to everyone up there. Felt safe all the way up and all the way down. It was my Mates 40th Birthday this year and thought it would be a good idea to get him a pressie to remember.Not only was the Jump Amazing but the Family feeling you get from Stuart's Team was Fantastic.From boxing Referee Dereck who puts you through your Training to the Big man giving sweet's out to all his team George. (big mussie )who I got paired up with and made it a very rememberble day..So much so the D.V.D was on all night when we got back and are both getting ready to book again. May be even take our tents so we can stay the weekend and start the Static Line Course. Many Thanks Again For a Fab Day !! And Thanks to all your team for making it possible and very memorable.

Accelerated Free Fall

I did an accelerated free fall course on 7th and 8th August 2009. Three of us did the course although it was primarily a birthday present for one of the three who was 16 years old just the previous weekend! The messages on this site that speak of the humbling friendshp shown to visitors at Cark are true. The instruction was expert and reassuring, the jumps were great fun and the photographs and videos amazing. Thanks to all of you for a great experience - we will be back next summer!

Those were my exact words upon landing!! Loved every minute of it. We all raised loads of money for Brake too. It was a gorgeous day, although 120mph through a cloud, which I'll advise you is very small particles of ice-ouch!! Much to the digust of the staff I am going back to do it all over again on my own hopefully!!

AMAZING!!!! did my first but hopefully not my last, tandem jump on 20.Sept.08, with my dad also having a go aged nearly 71!! What an experience the guys there are "crazy" and i felt safe and welcomed by them all!! Hope to do it again and again and again!!! CHeers to Dennis and Dick who i jumped with (parden the pun haha)

I did my first tandum skydive yesterday 21/9/08 for charity. Having 2 phobias, Parrafin Budgies & anything above ground level, i thought somebody was really going to have there work cut out, but thank's to my instructor Brian Shaw, what a fella, he put my mind at rest with both of these. WOW, the best jump ive ever had. It's definately the best experience ever, ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC, the moment i landed i was hooked. Living in Grange for 13yrs and watching all them muppets jumping, i thought they where mad so yes im now mad too, it's on my doorstep so i WILL BE BACK sooner than later. My boyfriend Tom and I came to Sky dive North West last Sunday (21.9.08) as we were on a weekend break up from London for his birthday. I was 100% not going to do the tandem jump - I don’t even like flying, but I sat in on the training and I thought about it all and felt better knowing how safe it was and how professional the staff are, I thought I don’t want to regret not doing it so in the end I said yes! I was sooo nervous but the instructor I was put with (Dick Kazinski) was so great I felt I was in good hands, I think he understood I was terrified! The whole thing was amazing - even though for the freefall bit I could hardly open my eyes - wish I hadn’t been so scared now and had opened them more! Tom and I can't stop telling everyone about it and showing them our DVD's - which we got filmed by some really good guys! (many thanks to my camera man - Gary Turner, top job!) All the staff were so friendly to us we will never forget it. Thank you xx

I came to Cark last weekend with 2 of my good friends. We planned our skydive to raise money for charity. I had a few concerns when i booked the skydive because i have a physical disability, but everybody supported me and enabled me to achieve a dream of mine. Although the weather delayed our jump it was soooooo worth the wait!! The whole team were so helpful and reassuring, particularly Peter who was my instructor. THANKS to you all for an unforgettable experience!! I cannot wait to do it again!

I bought my husband a tandem jump on the spur of the moment and attended the centre 2 days later sunday the 31/01/2010. The center is full of really helpful people, right down to the lady that runs the cafe there. Judging by my husbands beaming expression when he landed, its abit like he fell down alice and wonderlands rabbit hole, as it has opened a whole new world of possibilities and adventure. We will be back as soon as possible to start the statiic line or AFF course together. A big Thankyou to all the staff, in paticular his tadem instructor Pete j conner, hes a real show man on camera, our camera man Steve Nolan, and of course John the other tandem instructor who was on hand in the cafe with lots of helpful advice about pursuing skydiving as a hobbie, which prior to talking to him we thought was financially out of our reach. See you all again soon, we cant wait to get back xx

When i first arrived at the centre i was very nervous as this was my first jump, and at the time seemed like alot of experienced skydivers were around. After i registered i was able to have a look around and watch how things were done and also watch other skydivers prepare for their jumps and watch them take part. Once my name was called i was given a briefing by derrick fantastic scottish guy who made me /you very comfortable and made the training fun and serious all into one, this really relaxes you. The training is very basic for a tandem jump but very important and derrick made it very easy to understand and enjoyable. The jump WOW AWESOME out of this world , cannot explain or describe what goes on and happens, it is just amazing. The whole experience and the views are stunning watching the world race past you. All the time from gound to jump and back down your instructor is making sure you are ok and relaxed and getting the most out of your jump. Absolutely fantastic well worth every penny and the experience. Stephen the camera man is ace and really knows how to get a good picture and also tries to get you relaxed to get the most out of you. Safety, no worries these guys are top knotch, i was checked 4 times before i got on the plane by different people checked twice more on the plane by derrick the instructor. The instructor is checked 3 times by 3 different instructors so you really are safe and checked properly which really helps. Anyone thinking of doing this, stop thinking and do it you will not regret it its breathtaking and beautiful im planning my next JUMP.

WOW THIS WAS ONE OF THE BEST EXPERIENCES OF MY LIFE. I DID MY JUMP ON 19/06/10. I HAVE 2 BIG FEARS ONE IS FLYING THE OTHER IS HEIGHTS AND I HOPED TO OVERCOME THESE BY DOING A TANDEM FREEFALL. I PROBABLY HAVE NOT GOT OVER EITHER OF THESE BUT FOR SOME REASON THE HEIGHT THING NEVER CAME INTO IT. MY INSTUCTOR JOHN WAS BRILLIANT HE NEW HOW SCARED I WAS AND MADE ME FEEL SO AT EASE AND YOU MUST GET THE DVD EVEN AT £85 IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY MINE MUST HAVE BEEN PLAYED ABOUT A HUNDRED TIMES BY NOW. SO THANKS VERY MUCH TO JOHN AND EVERYONE AT THE CENTRE AND I WILL SKYDIVE AGAIN THE FEELING IS OUT IF THIS WORLD (THANKYOU)

I decided to do something a bit crazy for my 30th birthday. This was just amazing. I was nervous to say the least on arrival but after being welcomed by the friendly and professional staff (yet with a brilliant sense of humour) I was soon put at ease and was laughing along with everybody else. Dennis's informative training session with a comedy twist filled me with nothing but confidence and by the time I met my instructor, Peter, I couldn't wait to get up there. Peter and my camera man, Chris, were brilliant and I knew I was in safe hands. The plane ride up was hilarious and rather like a game of sardines which just added to the experience. There was plenty of laughter and the views were incredible. The jump itself was unbelievable!! Peter did everything possible to make sure the ride was a thrill from start to finish. I bought the DVD and photos and they are excellent; very professional! Thank you Peter, Chris and everyone. I would recommend this to anyone. I'll be back!!!!

What can I say, this has got to be one of my most memorable days apart from my wedding and birth of my two girls. Jumping for paediatric diabetes, Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary. Brilliant day - Kay in office is lovely, Dennis is such a laugh and makes you so relaxed at his training session and a big thanks to Mike Carruthers my jump instructor for taking me up. Will never forget this day for a long time and planning my next.

It's a bit late I know! Did a skydive back in August 2008 and it was absoutely immense! The instructors were absolutely amazing & made us feel right at ease. First skydive and it was an amazing experience! It was a tandem sky dive - my tandem was with a fella called Steve H (he's a hottie! ;-) ) and they were all lovely on the day and chatty making us feel at ease. Really want to do one for charity soon or just book one and visit the base again to jump again. Yes please! Defo recommend it!

In April of 2008, my wife and I split up after nearly 13yrs together. Our anniversary was fast approaching on the 5th October, and what better way to take my mind off it was to do my first 14,000ft tandem skydive!! Brian Shaw was my instructor and he was brilliant. I wasn't keen on the plane ride but he kept me calm all the way through it. The freefall was awesome and the best thing I have ever done in my life. I've got the bug for more now. Unfortunately, due to the last 2yrs being plagued with problems, I have not had a chance to do another one. However, I am planning on doing another one in October 2010 and can't wait.

I DECIDED TO DO A CHARITY SKYDIVE IN ORDER TO RAISE MONEY FOR ALZHEIMER'S AND BOY AM I GLAD I DID! I CAME SAT 14TH AUGUST 2010 AND IT IS THE MOST AMAZING THING I HAVE EVER DONE (BESIDES GIVE BIRTH) I CAN NOT EXPRESS HOW FANTASTIC IT WAS. I LAUGHED BEGINNING TO END IN THE TRAINING AND WAS DEFINATLY PUT AT EASE THAT I WAS GONNA BE IN SAFE HANDS! MASSIVE RESPECT TO JOHN HOWARD THAT GUY IS A STAR! I organised a small group to jump in aid of 2 charities - cancer research and NABD (national association for bikers with a disability). - didn't know what to expect but the guys were brilliant. Had a fantastic time... will DEFINITELY be back to do many more jumps and hopefully become fully qualified:D

6 of us booked a static line course with Skydive North West a couple of weeks ago. The course was held on a saturday and was really great fun. There was a lot to go through but it wasn't hard work and the instructor was pretty entertaining. All of us did our jumps and thoroughly enjoyed them. 2 of us now want to continue and learn to properly skydive for ourselves.

Skydiving was never something I'd given a lot of thought to until my missus bought me a tandem skydive for my birthday last year. Just a few weeks ago I made the jump and it was just incredible. Was pretty damn scared I can tell you - but it was worth it. Just so not how I imagined, I really felt like I was flying. I had a camera-man film my jump and it was worth getting just to see someone else in freefall opposite me!!

I came here in 1987 - ouch, that seems so long ago - did 5 static line jumps and loved it immensley. Staying in the luxurious bunk house was the highlight of the summer. Am hoping to return in 2010 to do a tandem.

I came up to the parachute centre on Satuday to make a tandem skydive. My husband bought me it for my 40th! It was an absolute blast. I was a bit scarred in the plane but the moment I got out in to freefall it was incredible. Everyone should do at least one skydive - there's no other feeling in the world like it.

Myself and a friend have recently jumped to raise money for a diabetes charity. Skydive North West helped make arranging it all easy and we had a great day. The skydive itself was awesome and I'm now seriously considering learning to skydive myself! (Tho my mate Tom thought 1 was more than enough!)

Our friend, Steven Freakes, was kind enough to buy us a RAPS course for a wedding present (he included himself as well). And what a life changing present it was!! The three of us are totally hooked. Steven made it through RAPS but we changed to AFF. Everyone at Cark is so friendly and caring, they make you feel incredibly welcome. Thanks to you all!!!!!!!
